Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA)
Ruby is a participant of the TCA Touring Roster 2016-2018.
TCA will pay for 50% of Ruby’s touring fee under the TCA Arts Respond Performance Support Grant. This grant is only available for the State of Texas. Technical Requirements
TECH REQUIREMENTS (for a theatre or performance hall setting)
-Ruby travels with a backdrop (12'x20'), crew is needed to hang backdrop
-Lighting Technician to focus and run cues in rehearsal and to operate board during show
-Sound Technician to cue CD tracks, rehearsal and run show
-Although Ruby travels with kitchen props she will need the following (if possible) the setting is a Mom-N-Pop restaurant
*stove (does not need to work)
*refrigerator (does not need to work)
*2 restaurant tables (small, round or square, does not need to be the same)
*1 stool
*3 to 4 chairs
*3 to 5 empty boxes (any kind for packing)
*a counter (can be a portable bar) or (6' table)
*Free Standing Working Screen Door with frame (if possible, not necessary)
*Sound system with CD player
